Rentals & eBooks

NC State Bookstores offers online textbook rentals for a large selection of titles at great prices. Look for the rental available link in booklist to determine rental availability. Please be aware that clicking on the links will redirect you to our rental site. All rentals must be paid for with a valid credit card. All copies will be shipped directly to customers from selected fulfillment centers. Also, rental books must be returned directly to the rental fulfillment center at the end of the rental period. North Carolina State University has partnered with CourseSmart to bring students the ability to purchase digital versions of textbooks at a lower price. E-Books are downloaded on to your PC or MAC or viewable online through the website. Materials purchased for online viewing are refundable within 14 days of purchase providing no more than 20% of the book has been read or printed.

E-Books from CourseSmart are subscription based and most last for 180 days.

Some downloads may take 45 minutes or more due to the size of the file

The eTextbook will expire at the end of your class

All downloadable eTextbooks are non-refundable
