Textbook Rental FAQ

To give the best possible prices, the inventory is sold using dynamic pricing. If a low rental price cannot be offered, the book is not available for rent. Although some books cannot be rented, they are always available for purchase from the bookstore.

We currently only serve customers living in the United States of America and Canada. (However, we currently do not ship to U.S. territories or APO/FPO addresses.) Return shipping: Returns are free and easy – just log in, print the packing label, place it securely on the package with the books, and drop it off at any FedEx store or box.

No, credit card is the only method of payment for rentals. (No Scholarship or Financial Aid money may be used for rentals)

Books are shipped to your home address (No P.O. Boxes). Please do not have your rental books shipped to the bookstore, as they will send them back and will delay you receiving your books.

We source your rental books from many different places so your books might arrive from multiple sources. This may cause you to receive multiple packages from different places, but they are all affiliated with us.

Yes! Minimal highlighting and writing is allowed. Excessive highlighting and/or writing may result in damage fees.

The rental time periods are 30, 45, 60, 90, and 125 days.

We make every effort to process and ship your order quickly. If you are not able to cancel your order online, log into your account and initiate a return. Generate and print a packing list and shipping label to return the order for a refund at no additional cost.

Returns for a refund are accepted up to 21 days after shipment was received. Returned items must be in the condition as sold.

Return shipping is free of charge when the steps below are followed:

1. Log into the account and go to the Rental Returns page

2. Verify the shipping address

3. Select the book(s) being returned

4. Print a pre-paid shipping label and packing list

5. Pack the item securely, and ship from any FedEx location or Ground Service drop-box

Yes! They will receive email reminders 7 days before, 3 days before, and 1 day before their rental due date. One email reminder will be sent on the date their rental is due.
